Quincy University is a small private and Catholic liberal arts college in the midwest, enrolling about 1500 students, located in Quincy, Illinois. Like any other college or university, they were looking at a way to turn the passion for education and athletics into a more personal admissions process. You hear it all the time in admissions: “If I can get a prospect on campus for a tour, it’s a done deal.” The only issue is that campus visits are quite a ways down the funnel. The challenge is to nurture prospects and guide them toward the decision to visit — and incorporating video at different stages in your enrollment marketing strategy can get you there. Video can be one of the most effective ways for schools to connect with a large group of applicants on a deeper level, so Vervocity got right to work.
From conception and storyboarding to filming and editing – we worked in conjunction with the university to produce videos everyone could be excited about. We stayed true to the QU BRAND and were clear about the story we wanted to tell visually. We used QU athletes in the video to convey action and strength while pulling the QU colors out in the graphic elements. We put ourselves in the target audience’s shoes, listening beyond what we already know about our client’s school, and used their unique strengths and stories to springboard video content creation.
