FAST PACED
John Wood Community College (JWCC) offers college credits to Illinois high school students around the Quincy area. Their Smart Start Concurrent Enrollment Program allows students to get ahead in their education by taking career-focused college classes while still in high school.
The main goal of the videos is to inform high school students and guidance counselors about the benefits of the Smart Start Program to encourage early participation and enrollment. We partnered with JWCC to produce promotional videos that provide valuable information in a short amount of time. Our dynamic, fast-paced editing style maintains viewer engagement and effectively communicates to a younger audience. Potential students audibly receive the program benefits while also visually seeing behind-the-scenes footage of the classes.
VISUALLY STRIKING
Who better to explain the benefits of a program created for high school students than high school students? Each video includes at least one first-person testimonial from students either currently enrolled or recently graduated from the Smart Start Program.
We also use striking text and graphical elements to simplify the testimonials and visually engage students with important key points. Moving text over the active background helps the key points stand out, making the content more memorable and digestible. Each element thoughtfully matches the video’s energy, messaging, and pace to appeal directly to high school students and maintain a professional look for guidance counselors. Overall, we created separate videos with cohesive branding aimed at motivating students to explore Smart Start opportunities.
